ABOUT THE LECTURE
"To think about God is to the human soul what breathing is to the human body." In this lecture we deal with the conflicts in our relationships to time, money, love, technology, and the quest for spiritual guidance.  We focus mainly on two themes: the recovery of conscience in our relationships, and the need to cut through the present confusion about the meaning of God.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Jacob Needleman, PhD
, is the acclaimed author of The American Soul and Money and the Meaning of Life. He is a professor of philosophy at San Francisco State University and a former director of the Center for the Study of New Religions at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.
