Dimensions of Self with Faisal Muqaddam
Nov 20 2010 - Nov 21 2010

We as human beings are deeply and relentlessly involved in seeking three major and essential parts of our needs: a) a sense of who we are and a desire to know ourselves and live our potential and dreams; b) the home and the safety that comes from securing this quest, and c) the fulfillment of the interrelational field that constitutes the fabric of life and existence. In this lecture and workshop we will touch lightly on these three subjects and deeply on the subject of self. We will explore three major attributes of self: worldly self, essential self, and selfhood, perceived from the Diamond Logos perspective. The work is based on transmission and psychospiritual experiential understanding.
Faisal Muqaddam is the originator of the Diamond Logos Teachings and the co-originator and co-developer (with A.H. Almaas) of the Diamond Approach to liberation. He is a psychospiritual teacher and has lectured and conducted workshops in the Middle East and the U.S. for the last thirty-four years, and has offered retreats in Germany, Italy, and Denmark for the last twelve years. Born in Kuwait, he trained as a Reichan therapist with Dr. Phillip Curcuruto, and has also studied different systems of growth with esteemed teachers such as Tarthang Tulku Rinpoche, Dr. Claudio Naranjo, and Middle Eastern sufis. Currently he practices and teaches in California, Colorado, and Hawaii.
