The Jewish Wives of the Prophet Muhammad with Tamam Kahn
Dec 1 2010

Tamam Kahn is an authority on the wives of Prophet Muhammad. Her book, Untold: A History of the Wives of Prophet Muhammad, is being released by Monkfish Books this fall. She presents her findings at women's gatherings, in schools and universities, and at Sufi and interfaith conferences and festivals worldwide. In 2009 she was invited to read her poetry at an international conference in Marrakech. Her travels to sacred sites in Morocco, Syria, Andalusia, and India, and her careful research of early Islamic history have informed her attunement to and knowledge of these vital and nearly unknown historical figures. She is an author and poet, has released two CDs of poetry and spoken word performances, and has just completed a book tour.
