Art-making provides us the chance to make an offering, both literally and aesthetically. In this exhibit, artists show us-through text and image, abstract painting, artist books, mixed media, photography, sculpture and handmade postcards-the many ways art is both contribution and sacrifice.

Postcard as Offering: A Text, Image & Texture Workshop: Thursday, October 13, 6:00PM-9:00PM @ Village Theater Art Gallery. The postcard may be the perfect form of art as offering. It allows for conscious relationship between text and image. Workshop participants will make a variety of postcards through drawing, oil pastel, and use of textured materials.
