CIIS Senior Editor Zack Rogow named a Brown Foundation Fellow for September 2010Aug 27 2010
The senior editor at CIIS, Zack Rogow, was named a Brown Foundation Fellow for September 2010. The fellowship supports him to be in residence for one month at the Dora Maar House in the hill town of Ménerbes in Provence, France. His project is to translate work by the French writer Colette, author of such famed novels as "Cheri" and "Gigi." Pablo Picasso purchased the Dora Maar House for his model and muse, Dora Maar, who was a photographer. On her death in 1997 the house became a residence for artists and scholars when it was purchased by a philanthropist from Houston, Texas.
