Barbara Morrill Steps Into Program Chair of the Integral Counseling Psychology ProgramAug 31 2010
Barbara Morrill is the new program chair of the Integral Counseling Psychology program. Morrill replaces Brant Cortright, who stepped down after 20 years at the helm of the ICP program. Morrill has an MEd in counseling psychology from Boston College and a PhD from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto. She has taught cross-cultural psychology for many years as an adjunct faculty member at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, as well as at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont. Her lifelong commitment has been in the areas of unlearning racism, sexism, classism, and homophobia, and to the learnings and experience of culture, justice, compassion, reconciliation, and diversity. Morrill was hired to teach in the ICP weekend program in 2009, and officially stepped into the role of ICP program chair on July 1, 2010.
