Hope into Practice: Jewish Women Choosing Justice Despite Our Fears - Book Signing with Penny Rosenwasser, PhD

Penny Rosenwasser, PhD (TLR, '05), author of Hope Into Practice: Jewish Women Choosing Justice Despite Our Fears, will present an interactive evening drawing on themes from her new book and encouraging a lively discussion. Joining Penny in reading excerpts from her book will be CIIS faculty Anne Bluethenthal, Arisika Razak, Shoshana Simons (tentative), and Alec MacLeod.

An activist’s call to repair the world, grounded in Jewish ethical tradition and community, Hope Into Practice brings to life an irresistible blend of women’s healing stories, history, and a fair-minded perspective on Israel-Palestine – inviting us to face fears but not act on them, and to use privilege to shift power.
