As alumni and friends of CIIS, you are an important part of our community and critical to the future of the Institute. Bina and Haridas Chaudhuri started CIIS with a single classroom in their home on Dolores Street in 1968 with just a few dozen students and an intention to bring integral education to the Bay Area.

Today CIIS has more than 4,000 alums, who are leaders and innovators in 29 different countries around the world. Through your volunteer activities, advocacy, involvement and gifts, you help ensure that future students will have access to the same quality of integral education that began 41 years ago in the Chaudhuri home.
