The Transformative Leadership MA offers students the opportunity to delve deeply into who they want to become, and articulate why, where, and how they want to lead.
Leadership is framed as a process of self-creation and self-leadership that unleashes potential and increases the capacity to envision and create change in the world. Working with a supportive learning community, students immerse themselves in their mission in life and develop the skills and capacities needed to make it a reality.
The course of study inspires, informs, and develops the students' ability to act creatively, wisely, and effectively. It provides a context where students can create their own approach to leadership, based on their personal values, capacities, and mission in life.
This innovative program culminates in a Capstone Action Project that demonstrates leadership in the world and allows students to apply their learning and experience and test their theories and assumptions about leadership in real time. The lessons learned from this project are often stepping stones for new initiatives and life paths for our graduates.
