Brandon Maurice Williams is a filmmaker who has earned his BFA (Screenwriting/Directing) from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, his MFA (Screenwriting) from the University of Miami, and currently is a PhD student within the school of Anthropology and Social Change at CIIS. Brandon has taught filmmaking to urban youth, instructed undergraduate screenwriting courses and workshops, as well as has been writing and directing short films, PSA's and videos, and developing feature film projects in both New York and Los Angeles where currently his socio-political horror screenplay "Curse the Darkness" is slated for summer 2014 production with Mexican director Jorge Michael Grau directing.
