Yosuke received his PhD in Health Education from the Pennsylvania State University. He has worked for over 20 year sin the fields of health education/promotion and employee wellness management. His previous appointment includes Research and Development at Stanford University School of Medicine Center for Research in Disease Prevention. Assistant Professor at American University, California State University-Fullerton, and Dokkyo Medical College, Director of Research at Health Fitness Corporation, and Director of Health Management at Keenan & Associates, and a Senior Consultant for Physician Education and Development at Kaiser Permanente.
Yosuke teaches Integrative Wellness Management
This course brings the foundational skills in coaching into a larger organizational setting and focuses on professional competencies for designing, implementing, and sustaining work‐site wellness programs. Students learn how to perform organizational culture audits, enlist senior management support, assess needs and interests of populations, evaluate feedback, design and administer program models, access evaluation instruments, deliver return‐on‐investment reports, and perform ongoing evaluations and program updates and incentives. Students may pursue opportunities for public health externships.
