Where the Rubber Meets the Road: Bringing Attachment Theory Into the Therapy Dyad with Jennifer Edlin, MFT
About the Presentation
Using a video-recorded session as a jumping-off point, we’ll look at how a therapist can pull for the secure attachment template available in (nearly) every client to create a secure base from which to explore painful material. This talk will focus on what we can do as therapists with our clients to set the stage for a secure attachment. Because of time limitations, we will not be able to directly address how to work with insecure attachment styles that (of course) show up between therapist and client.
