Integral Counseling Psychology

Course of Study

Curriculum for the weekday ICP Program

The ICP program was designed to include all of the educational requirements for a master's degree program as mandated by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). Students who complete this program are eligible to apply for a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) intern number in the state of California. Students may also elect to take additional coursework to gain eligibility for the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in California.

A weekend program is also available.

During the third-year practicum experience, students will have hands-on clinical training and the opportunity to apply theory in direct contact with clients. Practicum prepares students for post-degree internships.

During their second year, numerous practicum orientations and specialized staff support students in the process of researching, applying to, and securing placements at a practicum site. Most practicum sites are not available on weekends, so students need to plan for the impact on their employment that a weekday practicum schedule can have.
