Gary Raucher, MA, LMFT, RDT/BCT, is a drama therapist with broad clinical experience in a variety of community agencies, hospitals, and in private practice, working with adults, children, and families.  He is a founding member of the Institute for Developmental Transformations-West, a training program in an improvisational approach to drama therapy.  In the 1990s, he collaborated with colleagues in developing embodied, creative, and arts-based approaches to community support groups for people living with HIV. Keenly interested in transpersonal psychology, Gary has presented widely on the combined use of meditation and action techniques as a form of integral practice, helping participants access a fuller range of potentials for healing and self-development. He has served as Vice President and in various Board positions with the North American Drama Therapy Association, and is on the Editorial Board of Drama Therapy Review, a peer-reviewed journal for the profession.
