Integrative Health Studies Master's Degree Program Final Project
Department of Integrative Health Studies
Students must complete a Final Project to fulfill the requirements for graduation. The Final Project is a culmination of their learning along with a demonstration of the students’ interests and areas of study. The Integrative Seminars (Part 1 and Part II) are the culminating courses for the MA degree which support the two-staged completion of the Final Project. These seminars support a scholarly process in which students reflect critically upon all work accomplished during the course of the program, while clarifying professional goals, transitioning from the role of student to the role of professional. They demonstrate the ability to design, conduct, and assess applied research and reflection analysis in integrative health through a modified thesis paper. The Final Project a modified thesis, a few academic papers, a community internship assessment, professional goal statement, personal reflections on the student’s the academic experience and growth, resume, curriculum vitae, and is presented for assessment in both paper binder and in an e-portfolio.
