Bachelor of Arts Completion Program

Bachelor of Arts Completion Program

The School of Undergraduate Studies offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies through the Bachelor of Arts Completion (BAC) Program. Serving adult learners who have completed the equivalent of the first two years of college, the CIIS Bachelor's degree completion program is designed to complement busy lifestyles. Since 2000, this program has graduated 68 percent of its students within one year of enrollment.

The core curriculum in the School of Undergraduate Studies evolves each semester according to our students, faculty, contemporary culture and emerging scholarship. In the core curriculum, students work together in a cohort, or a group of peers, over the three-semester sequence. We believe that the skills of learning and working collaboratively and cooperatively are critical to society and the workforce in the twenty-first century.

Since Fall 2011, the program offers students a chance to pursue studies in critical psychology. Students who wish to deepen their studies and skills in this area have the option of selecting a minor in Critical Psychology.
